Digital Education and Learning Technologies Programme

To develop free digital learning content from primary school to university, together with progress tracking and AI-supported tools for families, educators and researchers.

Overview

The need addressed

Different stages of education have different needs for content, guidance and technology. The age-appropriateness of learning tools, review by educators and clear feedback for families must be addressed together.

TÜBİAD's role

Brings educators, researchers and technical teams together in a joint development process; coordinates needs research, content review and pilot evaluation.

Work plan

Three work packages

Each project within the programme is designed around the following work packages; the people responsible for each work package and its delivery dates are set out in the project file.

  1. Work package 1

    Content for each stage of education

    Educational games, mobile apps and animations are developed for primary school; topic studies, learning tracking and study plans for secondary school.

  2. Work package 2

    Support for families, educators and academics

    Clear progress reports are designed for families, content and assessment aids for teachers, and academic work tools for university students and researchers.

  3. Work package 3

    Review and implementation

    Content undergoes review by educators and an accessibility assessment. AI functions are designed to run on infrastructure operated in Türkiye, under human oversight.

Indicators

What do we monitor?

  • Suitability of content in educator review
  • Progress towards learning objectives and usability of tools
  • Feedback from families and educators, and accessibility findings

Numerical targets for the indicators are set together with the scope and baseline measurement of each project.

Continuity and sustainability

Responsibilities are assigned for updating content, expert review, free access and user support. Data access is organised according to user role.

Programme management

Who is responsible for what?

The programme is run within TÜBİAD's decision-making and reporting framework. Roles and resources are defined in writing for each project.

Decision and approval Board of Directors

Approves project decisions and the budget; reviews the programme as part of portfolio reviews.

Programme coordination Education and Academic Cooperation Directorate

To develop digital content and applications suited to every level of education, and to bring together the contributions of educators and academics.

Design and resources Project Development and Funding Programmes Directorate

Manages the project file, the resource plan and support calls together with the programme's coordinating directorate.

Monitoring and reporting General Secretariat

Tracks the timetable, decision records and periodic reports, and presents progress to the Board of Directors.

How can you contribute to this programme?

The business community, associations, foundations, universities, ministries and public institutions can take part in the programme with their own expertise and capacity. Contributions can be defined as expert time, technical capacity, field access, a venue or financial support.
