1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by TÜBİAD International Project Development and Research Association (the “Association”), in its capacity as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Personal data processed

The following data that you submit through the cooperation application form is processed: full name, position, e-mail address, telephone number, institution name, type of institution, country and city, field of activity, and the information contained in your proposal and message.

3. Purposes of processing

• Assessing the cooperation application and the project proposal;
• Forwarding the application to the relevant directorate;
• Contacting the applicant and arranging a needs meeting;
• Keeping institutional relations and application records in order.

4. Legal basis and method of collection

Your personal data is collected electronically through the form on the website. The data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the Law, namely that processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, and that processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

5. Transfer

Your personal data is shared with the relevant units of the Association to the extent necessary to assess your application. It is not transferred to third parties except in order to fulfil legal obligations or comply with requests from competent authorities. If your application needs to be shared with a cooperating institution, this is done with your knowledge and consent.

6. Retention period

Personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods, it is erased, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Cookies

The website does not use cookies for advertising or visitor tracking purposes. Only on the contact page is a strictly necessary session cookie used, valid for the duration of the session, to ensure that the form is submitted securely.

8. Your rights as a data subject

Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information about the processing if your data has been processed; learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties, domestically or abroad, to whom your data is transferred; request the rectification of your data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately; request its erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law; request that these operations be notified to the third parties to whom your data has been transferred; object to a result to your detriment arising from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage if you suffer damage as a result of unlawful processing.
