TÜBİAD is an international umbrella platform that brings institutions together on common ground. Together with the business community, associations, foundations, universities, ministries and other public institutions, it develops and supports projects, carries out research and planning for new projects, and organises workshops and seminars.
TÜBİAD's approach begins with defining the need accurately. The relevant institutions and experts come together around a common topic through workshops and seminars. The purpose of the project, its lead, its resources and its outputs are set out in a plan; progress is monitored throughout implementation, and the results are evaluated and carried forward into new work.
Under the TÜBİAD umbrella are affiliated platforms that plan and deliver their own projects independently. TÜBİAD plans and delivers joint projects with these platforms and with many institutions and organisations in Türkiye and abroad, and also supports its partners in their own projects.
Cooperation that begins in Türkiye is developed together with institutions in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Every joint initiative is carried out within a framework that defines the contributions and responsibilities of the participating institutions.
Purpose, mission and vision
To build joint working capacity for the research, technology, education, project development and international cooperation needs that institutions find difficult to meet on their own, and to turn this capacity into projects with clearly defined beneficiaries, leads, budgets and objectives.

What does TÜBİAD do?
Each area of work produces concrete outputs, which form the basis for project decisions and reporting.
Brings the expertise and needs of the business community, associations, foundations, universities, ministries and public institutions onto a shared agenda, and pools resources directed at the same need into joint projects.
Turns needs into project ideas and defines the target group, method, timeline, budget and leads. Assesses feasibility, explores funding options and supports the projects of partner institutions.
Examines the needs of institutions and target groups for new projects through interviews, surveys and existing data. Reports findings together with information on methods and sources, and uses them in project selection and design.
Plans the scope, work packages, responsibilities, timeline and resources of projects. Sets baseline measurements and acceptance criteria, and monitors whether implementation is progressing according to plan.
Through workshops, brings institutional representatives and experts together on a shared agenda to resolve a specific problem; through seminars, strengthens the project development and cooperation capacity of institutions.
Develops joint research, education, technology and foreign trade programmes with institutions in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Matches institutions according to their field of activity and specific project needs.
Working model
TÜBİAD's working model rests on three responsibilities. The scope of cooperation between institutions, the authority to represent and resource contributions are set out in writing.
It manages the shared agenda, institutional relations, project monitoring and resource planning together, and supports partner institutions in their projects.
The business community, associations, foundations, universities, ministries, public institutions and affiliated platforms retain their own structures and decision-making processes, and come together with TÜBİAD in joint projects.
The lead team designated for each project is responsible for the timeline and the outputs.
